“ Nubar is a nice, quiet spot to grab a meal. The servers are extremely hospitable and great to talk to, the ambience is great, and the food is decent. I enjoyed the Chicken Shawarma sandwich and the Roasted salmon. The vegetable empanadas were a bit bland for my liking. Nonetheless, worth a visit! ”

Its an easy option for bringing guests or for special occasions when having trouble deciding. “ Richard and his team were very helpful putting together a set menu for our group of 20 on a very busy Saturday night in October. We enjoyed great food in a comfortable environment. Some of the other restaurants I considered were trying to blatantly price gouge for the Head of the Charles weekend but Nubar just charged us their standard rate which was very refreshing. Most of the guests were from out of town and the restaurant location was a real bonus for exploring Harvard Square and Cambridge Common prior to sitting down for dinner. ”

“ Had a really nice dinner here while staying at the hotel for work. Its a very modern atmosphere not really warm but its nice. The service was friendly and efficient. I highly recommend the gazpacho and the crab cake appetizer was melt in your mouth. I could have eaten two! I had the smoked salmon flat bread for my main meal and it was great. I finished it all off with the ice cream sandwich which was awesome. The malted vanilla iced cream put it over the top. I would eat here again. ”
